Micheal Roberts
Michael J. Roberts, MD did his undergraduate education at Clark University, in Worcester, MA and received his M.D. at the University of Miami School of Medicine. Internship, residency and post residency fellowship training in allergy immunology were done at Mary Imogene Basset Hospital/Columbia University, University of Texas and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles respectively.
Dr. Roberts is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. He taught and was clinical faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA from 1985-2011. He still actively participates in the teaching program at the West LA VA Medical Center. Fellows from the program occasionally are in the office as part of their training.
Drug and food Challenges are special interest. Education of patients to enable them to effectively participate in their care is an important part of the practice.
Dr. Roberts shares the office with his wife, Bonnie Beaver MD, a gynecologist. They are proud parents of two daughters and four 4-legged sons (2 dogs and 2 cats)
Outside the office Dr. Roberts and family love to travel the world, cook (and eat) and play bad golf. He remains a passionate fan of all things related to “The U”
