Arsen S Marsoobian
Arsen Marsoobian, currently 82 years young, a time when most people are looking for a rocking chair, cruise ship or retirement facility, launched his third career just 7 years ago.
After having endured 2 major heart surgeries within 70 days of each other in 1999 and becoming divorced, his family persuaded him to return to Fresno and retire to a quiet life on the golf course.
This lifestyle lasted 5 years, until at the age of 79, Arsen had impressed upon him by international motivational speaker and mentor, Les Brown, that he still had much to contribute in life.
At the same time Arsen was training under Lynn Rose, the noted speaker, singer and entrepreneur, who bestowed the moniker of “Ageless Attitude Ambassador” for him and helped Arsen see his unique spark, bringing out his many special gifts. It then became clear to Arsen that with over 7 decades of experience in both local government and the private sector, along with the impact of his personal trials and triumphs, he had a wealth of knowledge and experience which he is called to share with others through his books and speaking engagements.
To date Arsen’s writing contributions include “Don’t Die – 3 Essential Truths for Your Fulfilled and Happy Life” and “Beating Taxes and Cheating Death”. Book projects coming in 2017-2018 are , “A Heartbeat Away – Are Your Ready?” and “Ageless and Masculine – Romance Without the Pill”.

In addition to authoring books, and public speaking, Arsen continues to help clients with their financial planning needs, along with providing targeted event promotions, through his company: SOOB Enterprises, LLC. “S.O.O.B” is an acronym for:
S – Success on a daily basis
O – Optimism as a philosophy of life
O – Overachieve in every task and
B – Belief in the God of the Universe
SOOB also happens to be part of his nickname, “Papa SOOB”, which many affectionately call this gentle giant.
The company motto that encompasses the approach he takes in all of his endeavors, is: “Touching Lives – Transforming Outcomes”.
Arsen Marsoobian raised his family of three children in Fresno, CA. He completed his formal education there, receiving his college degree in Physical Education and later garnering Certification in Secondary Education and Public Administration. During his professional life insurance career, he also obtained the highly regarded designation of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
Throughout his life, Arsen has been a student and advocate for positive thinking and personal development through studying the teachings of Napoleon Hill, Paul J. Myers, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohan and Earl Nightingale, just to mention a few.
Within the scope of his illustrious career he has also been the recipient of recognition and many awards for his volunteer work. A few of which are; The City of Fresno’s, “Mayor For A Day,”and becoming an inductee into the Optimist International (Pacific Central District, Zone 10) Hall of Fame. Professionally he was the top Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Transamerica Life Insurance taking his region from last to first in net first year premium production in just three years.
