David Tresemer, Ph.D., has most recently edited and co-authored “The Counselor… As If Soul and Spirit Matter” (SteinerBooks, 2015).
In 1990 he co-founded the StarHouse in Boulder, Colorado, for community gatherings and workshops of various kinds – from music to personal development, www.TheStarHouse.org. He has led numerous workshops there over the years.
His teaching now focuses on courses given by APANA—Anthroposophic Psychology Associates of North America—presently with three-year trainings in up-state New York and near Sacramento. He has written in many areas, ranging widely, including purely psychological works (such as the book “Fear of Success,” and several articles in psychological journals), “spiritual horticulture” (as in “The Scythe Book: Mowing Hay, Cutting Weeds, and Harvesting Small Grains with Hand Tools”), and most recently editor and contributor to “The Counselor… As If Soul and Spirit Matter.” Dr. Tresemer’s quarterly column in “Lilipoh Magazine” intends to create a bridge between psychology and a general public. With his wife, Lila, Dr. Tresemer has co-authored the DVD “Couple’s Illumination” on energy dynamics in relationship, and the DVD “Brain Illumination” (see David-Lila.com). Together they have pioneered the initiative of the Mountain Seas Arts and Wilderness Community in remote Australia (MountainSeas.com.au) and “The Sophia Elements Meditations” (SophiaLineage.com, ongoing research).
